Be privately guided through historic Kumeu River. Taste wine from Nobilo, Kim Crawford and Matua. Take lunch at Beesonline and try the range of native flora honey’s. See green rolling hills & stunning farmland. See Gannets nesting and flying over black sand beaches.

Be treated to a “behind the scenes” private winery tour and tasting at historic Kumeu River Wines. One of New Zealand’s finest family producers, see how their stunning chardonnays are barrel fermented and slowly created. The wine maker Michael Brajkovich MW became New Zealand’s first Master of Wine.

Try a range of Nobilo, Selaks and Kim Crawford wines at the House of Nobilo cellar door Then enjoy a one course open menu lunch with tea/coffee from the award winning BeesOnline Honey Factory Cafe visit www.beesonline.co.nz Try the different New Zealand flora honeys and the Active UMF Manuka honeys.

Relax with a side trip through rolling sheep country to visit the Muriwai black sand beach. See the rugged West Coast & regional Park meeting the Tasman Sea.

In the afternoon visit Matua Wines for a generous selection of varietals and blends in the cellar door shop. Matua Wines was the first wine company in New Zealand to produce Sauvignon Blanc.
