Wine, vineyards delicious cusine, rainforest and ecological beauty abound on this tour. The Henderson Valley is the historical heartland of the Auckland wine industry and Piha a jewel in Auckland’s crown.

Start the day by visiting Soljans Estate established in 1937 for a tasting of varietals & blends at the cellar door. Soljans Estate Wines also have an enviable reputation for their port and exceptional vintage Methode Traditionelle. Then enjoy a delicious open menu one course lunch from their picturesque vineyard restaurant.

Visit Corazon Wines, a small premium wine producer nestled in the beautiful Henderson Valley, West Auckland. Corazon specializes in small batches of single vineyard wines gained from wine maker Shane Cox’s experience of 25 harvests both in New Zealand and Europe

Drop into Babich Wines. The Babich family have been making wine since 1916 and now export over 90% of what they produce around the world.

Head up into the stunning Waitakere Ranges and down to the West Coast black sand beach settlement of Piha. If time and weather permit, you can climb to the lookout.
